It goes without saying that the best systems tend to be those that use a single OS setup as a bare-metal install, at least in as far as personal-use-systems (not servers, or enterprise workstations), so I tend to recommend dedicating hardware to the separate OS environments when hardware and budget allow, simply because it's much easier to become adept at multiple operating systems when there's nothing in the way of accessing both at the same time. But, I've got some free time coming up this weekend, so if time allows, I might get on to that. Wouldnt it be nice if you could install Linux like a native Windows app something like Microsoft Office? For instance, if you have Office running on Windows, you can always uninstall the software later without affecting any other Windows programs or system settings. Then, dual-booting can be one of many ways to get there. although, I personally prefer to go a different way.
